HISTORY

We are a humanitarian organization founded by Adrian Hădean in 2015

The initial goal of the Association was to develop, through donations collected from private companies and individuals, programs focused on education and social responsibility. In the beginning, our projects focused on programs to raise awareness of the benefits of healthy eating, training of certain social categories in the culinary profession, educating and involving citizens and organizations in projects to raise awareness of the importance of reducing food waste.

In 2020, in the COVID pandemic emergency, we launched the #SolidarSocial which, with the help of dozens of private donors, companies and volunteers, we have provided thousands of hot meals to medical staff and vulnerable people across the country.

#SolidarSocial continued during the refugee crisis in Ukraine (February 2022) when Chef Hădean and his team of volunteers, with the support of donors and in partnership with World Central Kitchen and Cuisine sans Frontières, provided hot meals at the borders.

Due to our success and coupled with the acute, immediate need for food support for vulnerable people in Romania, we have decided to expand and make permanent our actions under the umbrella of the #SocialFood.

Why are we doing this?

Because one in three Romanians, or one third of Romania's population, is permanently at risk of poverty, and a significant proportion of our fellow human beings live below the poverty line.

We have seen with our own eyes how many people, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, face problems in accessing warm and safe food, and this has motivated us to continue the project. Providing hot food is only one step in fighting poverty, but it is the crucial step. Without access to basic necessities, without adequate food, it is difficult for a person to focus on other issues such as getting a job or improving their quality of life. By providing food we provide a stable base so that they can focus their efforts on the other actions needed to improve their situation.

Our fellow human beings in need face the stigma associated with poverty and food deprivation, and we want to offer them a more dignified alternative. We nurture and encourage a respectful, non-judgmental environment. We focus on social inclusion and restoring human dignity and we at Black Sea FooDignity, through #SocialFood we strive to stand by our community in these difficult times.

Macromex's mission is to deliver a superior consumer experience by providing innovative products of the highest quality. In everything it does, it emphasizes innovation, consistent quality and a healthy lifestyle.

Macromex is actively involved in the community, being a Social Food partner and constantly providing frozen products for various actions. Since the debut of the "Solidar Social" program, a program that emerged in the wake of the Covid-19 Pandemic, from April 2020 to the present, they have supported and will continue to support the beneficiaries of the Association through product donations.

As a Senior Executive and Business Leader in both Sales and Marketing, I have excelled in building and leading international teams ranging from 300 to 1,600 employees, managers and executives, fostering growth and resilience in ever-changing environments. My journey from Sales Representative to Software Solutions Business Unit Executive reflects a strong commitment to driving business growth by adding value and working with teams.

I then transitioned into marketing, where I progressed from Portfolio Marketing Manager to Global Vice President and continue to navigate the various challenges I face on a daily basis in a highly competitive global business environment.

Ever since I was a child, I've been guided by the saying "If you do good, you find good!" and as an adult I grew up to be guided by the saying "Good multiplies!"

I believe that this evolution of mine comes from a desire to do good for those around me, to do good for the planet that hosts us. At the root of all my decisions is the question: how do my decisions impact people and the planet for the better?

I realized then that I could take my desire to multiply good to another level. So, in addition to increasing the good with the help of the 800 employees of the Sapphire Family, if I join Social Food to multiply the good with the thousands of people that the association helps directly, maybe my contribution will be a little bit bigger.

That's why I decided to be on the Social Food board and together let's do as much good as possible!
